Committed to the environment – The recovery of engines as part of the circular economy

,

The circular economy takes the old saying “one man’s waste is another man’s treasure” to the nth degree. The items that for so long we have classified as waste are in fact resources that are screaming out to be reused. Given the “use and throw away culture” of the linear economy we still live in, the new model proposes we copy nature’s flows (where nothing is wasted) and close the production cycles in the name of efficiency and sustainability. Recycling was just the beginning.

Reduce, reuse and recycle

Reduce, reuse and recycle is the new production model being imposed and that AVIMA MOTOR practises when it comes to implementing its production process, above all because the remanufacturing trade is recycling in itself.

At Avima they use engines that despite having completed their life cycle can be used once again after completing the remanufacturing process. This process consists of dismantling, cleaning and replacing all of the components that are not in good condition with original parts, in order to leave the engine as new, offering perfect conditions of performance.
